Thanks Forlotto. I was testing against a 160mhz build. There may be some other flags I don't know about, tried both generic and nodemcu specific builds. Any suggestions welcome!

I'm not at all certain, but I'm beginning to form the impression that the web sockets or some element of the connection protocol are what's affecting certain things. There is a known issue with one of the stacks in vista, must look it up.

Could you please share the modification that you made on espbasic program? I am using arduino 1.8.5 and i follow up the above recommendations but i am receiving error Allmyvariables was not declared.
