Thanks for the response. I know of the working GCC version. I have it running here in Ubuntu 14.04. I am using it under Eclipse and it is working fine. I made a small extension (what to do under Eclipse) to the standard insallation procedure (see: http://www.verelec.nl/?page_id=547). You say the cloud update is already in 0.9.1 but if I read the English reference I cannot see those functions to do so.

Well, i said "over the air upgrade" and not "cloud". There are upgrade functions for example in user_esp_platform.c in the 0.9.1 IoT Demo. Also there is a boot.bin that handles the selection/start of the main code (since there are now two codes in the flash). In 0.9.2 that boot.bin is now boot_v1.1.bin. No idea if the upgrade stuff from 0.9.1 worked properly or not, tho...
