I use this, its 5V but works great, in 3 months that i had conected with the esp8266 never had fail.

if dont like 5v then buy the 3V, but i recommend 5v

Buy an ITEAD Sonoff smart switch :for 4.5$ you have an esp8266, the 220V converter, a relay, a led , a push button & a box. Ready to use !
