#7669 @Alex_S - FT230X has only RTS pin (no DTR) :(

but I saw somewhere on forum solution with a single pin control
(I found :) http://www.esp8266.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=911&p=5037&hilit=ESPAdapter.pdf#p5037 , in this case control via DTR )

I didn't know that there is no DTR but suggested approach with capacitor looks very good!

#7707 This looks like nice board, tempted myself even though I have several different ones already :)

Another approach to the reset circuit is used by Limpkin on his/her dev board. Schematics here http://www.limpkin.fr/public/esp8266/esp8266_schematics.png - using two mosfets and a few resistors and a capacitor. Seems complicated tbh and I like the simpler method using a cap and a diode outlined by peteben.

Are you producing this as open hardware? Go on, you won't loose any sales, and you may well win some - starting with me! :D
