The "rainsun" label is on the ceramic antenna......removing the zero ohm smd chip will disconnect it leaving the external antenna as the only antenna. Now the external antenna is necessary if the esp8266 pcb is inside an enclosure that restricts the signal....the external antenna will have more specific directional lobes and possibly a greater range.

Just to make sure, is it this one that should be removed? Thanks a bunch!
