have a breadboard adapter for the ESP01,

but somehow I do not get the ESP 01 to run on the adapter?

What can you do wrong?

The ESP runs easily with direct connection of 3.3V and GND.
But not if I have it on the adapter?

Hi, yes, plugged in right direction. double checked.

I rely on the small esp01 for my purposes.

Well, it's only a simple break out board, so take out your multimeter and follow the tracks.
