esp8266 deep sleep wake up issue

I m mostly concentrating on power consumption so i am using esp8266 and a timer ds3231 in deep sleep mode .I have kept esp8266 deep sleep for 8 hours and given a time period to wake up esp from deep sleep . But its waking up after going to deep sleep by the manual reset .After the manual reset the internal timer is working and giving the correct the time. I have tried by changing the circuit but its not working . i have connected the gpio 16 and reset pins to wake up esp but it didn't work for wake up the esp8266 from deep sleep. So, please help me in the hardware connections to wake up from deep sleep .
