BIOS lagging when ESP8266 board plugged in.
Posted: Sun Feb 23, 2020 4:05 amHey folks I've encountered a weird issue when I was trying to setup multi display in my studio. I've started the bios to re enable the iGPU and everything was super slow and the mouse cursor was moving slow too. I restarted several times and did a cmos reset. nothing worked until I unplugged my desk light which simply consists of an ws2812 led strip and a NodeMCU board esp8266. as soon as I unplugged it everything was working fine. I'm not using the serial ports for controlling the strip but the D5 pin. I swapped the nodemcu board with a new one same code. same problem. any suggestions what's causing this issue? also it took like 10 seconds to get into the bios.
