ok so but i want to understand the concept. So at present, the serial logs in my sketch above are sent by the esp to its serial, which is the debug port, which also happens to be connected to the Tx/Rx of the UNO thru my white and grey jumpers:
So the Uno is indeed getting my raising and lowering text. I would need to upload a sketch to the uno to read the serial (incoming) and parse it to whatever I need?
