ESP8266 not detected by Windows 10 after recent updates

I have gone through various articles of silicon labs (as it has CP2102 USB - UART converter) but it is really not helping.

Has anyone faced issues around it recently?

Hmmm no, the CP2102 is still seen and working here (Windows 10 21H1 Build 19043.1237).

I think it's best you just start over:
  • Remove all CP2102 devices from the PC
  • Remove the driver in device manager (View -> Show hidden devices -> Right click "Silican Labs..." (all if you have multiple) -> Uninstall device)
    UninstallCP210x.png
  • Download the latest version from Silicon Labs and re-install
  • Plug in your ESP
  • Watch if it shows up again in your device manager and note it's COM-port
