As at today, embedXcode supports the Adafruit, Arduino, chipKIT and PICadillo, DFRobot, Digispark, Intel Galileo and Edison, LaunchPad, LightBlue Bean, Little Robot Friends, Maple, Microduino, RedBearLab, RFduino, Robotis, Spark, Teensy and Wiring boards on the Wiring / Arduino framework and the Nucleo, Freedom, nRF51822 and Nordic boards on the mbed SDK.

New release 2.8 adds support for the ESP8266 board.

The NodeMCU board is based on the ESP8266 and runs with the specific version of the Arduino IDE for the ESP8266. The RedBearLab CC3200 board is built around the CC3200 from Texas Instruments and runs on Energia. An updated User Manual is being published.
