#94314 You wouldn't be in the same class with https://www.esp8266.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=23633#p94275... would you?

I have created a sophisticated control unit for irrigation based on esp32 and now.
I would like to create a probe to turn on the control unit for irrigation only when the ground brightness is low. I would like to use an esp8266 (wemos d1 mini) with battery and deep sleep. I would therefore like to measure the battery voltage to have an alarm when it is running low.

Can anyone tell me if the component I found on aliexpress could use me useful for measuring both the battery voltage and the sensor value?

#94364 Have you checked out the moisture sensor before you get to far? I brought a couple and they are crap.

I have used these in the past and they have worked well: ADS1015 ADC 12-bit ADC Module
As I said earlier you should get a better accuracy with one of these rather than using the built in analog pin.

You could use a couple of MOSFET's to create switches to select the different inputs.

The max voltage input on the anolg pin is 3.2V - I should say the maximium voltage the ADC can read is VDD + 0.3
