ESP8266 Community Forum

I discovered the Arudino IDE for ESP8266 recently. The Arduino libraries are wonderful but not the Arduino IDE. I would prefer IDEs that use .cpp and not .ino. Are there other IDEs available for ESP8266?

hi, I am also new to the esp8266, I found two nice set setups with native espressif SDK

And also you could use ESPlorer along with the NodeMCU LUA firmware
