Me too! I bet I readed somewhere about an internal temperature sensor that gives the internal chip temperature! (Have to search in my google history)

Who said the ESP has a temperature sensor? The datasheet at least does not mention any temperature sensor (or even temperature compensation, which would point to an onchip sensor).

In http://www.adafruit.com/datasheets/ESP8266_Specifications_English.pdf at point "3 -Features" one is - "Integrated temperature sensor"

So it seems like if there is a sensor, you wont get any help from espressif acessing it...
