#91584 Hello, i am new to esp programming. did a bit on arduino but mostly python and delphi.

I am strugling to get a webserver running on a D1 mini board (berrybase/wemos)

The webserver test program works without errors and the flash program i wrote to flash 2 led's after eachother works also fine. but i cant manage to work it in the server program

Need:
button1 Headlights on/off
button2 turning signal left on/off
button3 turning signal right on/off
button4 brake lights on/off
for later (button 5 siren on/off)
button6 flashing lights on/off (blinking led left 3 times and then led right 3 times etc.......)

the last part is what i need help with. Can somebody give me a push in the right direction ?

here is the code i got so far
Code: Select all// Load Wi-Fi library
#include <ESP8266WiFi.h>

// Replace with your network credentials
const char* ssid     = "XXxxxxxxxxxxxXXXX";
const char* password = "xXxXxXXXxxxxxx";

// Set web server port number to 80
WiFiServer server(80);

// Variable to store the HTTP request
String header;

// Auxiliar variables to store the current output state
String output5State = "off";
String output4State = "off";

// Assign output variables to GPIO pins
const int output5 = LED_BUILTIN;
const int output4 = 4;

// Current time
unsigned long currentTime = millis();
// Previous time
unsigned long previousTime = 0;
// Define timeout time in milliseconds (example: 2000ms = 2s)
const long timeoutTime = 2000;

void setup() {

    // initialize digital pin LED_BUILTIN as an output.
  pinMode(BUILTIN_LED, OUTPUT); // D5

  pinMode(15, OUTPUT); // D8

  Serial.begin(115200);
  // Initialize the output variables as outputs
  pinMode(D1, OUTPUT);

  // Set outputs to LOW
  digitalWrite(D1, LOW);

  // Connect to Wi-Fi network with SSID and password
  Serial.print("Connecting to ");
  Serial.println(ssid);
  WiFi.begin(ssid, password);

  // Print local IP address and start web server
  Serial.println("");
  Serial.println("WiFi connected.");
  Serial.println("IP address: ");

#91710 My question was, were to put the led code, But with some help from another i get it up and running.

FIY the server code was already working.

i wil put code here if you like (not yet completed all functions)
