#92597 Well, I have a workaround. I haven't managed to fix the issue, but I've configured the ESP's static address to be in the link-local IP range, so it becomes accessible from a Windows PC even if the DHCP server is broken. If it helps, I forgot to mention in my first post that after manually assigning a 10.0.0.X address to the Windows PC (ESP was at 10.0.0.1) it could connect to the ESP8266. I'll probably revisit this and fix it/post an MCVE at some point, but I don't have the time at the moment sadly.
