Any ideas?

So now HELP!!!

I've been programming for years in C and various other languages but not using Eclipse and GIT - I need some help!

I have Eclipse Mars 1 release installed along with CHERTS dev kit - it all works and I can build/program etc. my chips.
But what do I need to do (step by step please!!!) to import the esphttpd and libesphttpd into Eclipse, get them to build without a gazillion errors and complaints that I then spend hours looking for on Google, finally abandoning it.
