#87265 When I first started getting interested in microcontrollers I bought four of the pictured ESP-01S Relay Modules. Quite how these things ever got on the market in the first place is a mystery because they don't work as sold but with a lot of Googling a few days ago I worked out that it is fairly easy to fix them with the right tools. This involves removing R2 (which pulls GPIO0 to ground at boot stopping the ESP-01 from booting) and adding a link to pull CH_PD up to Vcc (which is required for normal operation).
It now works and I have successfully flashed Tasmota as well as simple sketches I wrote myself. However, when it boots, the relay flaps. This is probably because the relay is attached to GPIO0.
Does anyone know a fix for this?
