Ok, ok it is not based on the ESP8266 but on the ESP32.
I build a talking thermometer using the Talkie library.
It sounds like an 80's computer (CBM64 or Apple) talking. So very mechanical but ir is a fun project.
This is the 3rd story. Previous ones were the setup and a talking clock.
